 The Bar The bar is open at 12 noon to 11 pm Monday to Thursday, 12 noon to midnight Friday and Saturday and 12 noon to 10.30 pm on Sunday. Bar food is served 12 noon - 2 pm Monday to Thursday and 12 noon to 6 pm Friday & Saturday (NEW for the summer). A restaurant lunch menu is available between 12 noon and 2 pm Monday to Saturday & dinner menu between 6.45 pm - 9 pm Monday to Friday (6.30 pm - 9.15 pm Saturday). A Sunday lunch menu is served in the restaurant only from 12 noon to 2.45 pm. We serve a well kept selection of cask conditioned ales from breweries around the country including favourites from the East Anglia region including - Brancaster Best, Woodfordes Wherry, Adnams Bitter, plus regular changing guest ales and not forgetting Staropramen and Leffe on tap. award of ‘Best Cask Beer Pub 2009 in the South East’- one of only seven
winners across the country. The award was presented at The Great
British Pub Awards ceremony held recently at a glittering ceremony in
London organised by The Morning Advertiser. The awards are designed
specifically to reward an establishment for their hard work, dedication
and entrepreneurial skills in running a pub and are known as the
‘Oscars’ in the pub industry.And we have just heard that we are listed
in the 2010 Camra Good Beer Guide, a well-respected independent guide
to good beer and good pubs.
