We are very fortunate to be in a beautiful part of the world with lots of fantastic local food suppliers on our doorstep. Our menus are built around what can be sourced locally as much as possible, we also bring in fresh fish and local mussels and oysters landed just at the bottom of the marshes of our sister establishments The White Horse and The Jolly Sailors in Brancaster Staithe, Norfolk and occasionally we can get great quality game from the parkland near to our other inn The Kings Head in Letheringsett, Norfolk. 

Our menu changes regularly and is created around the best seasonal pickings on offer. We have a range of different menus so you will always find something to tickle your fancy. Some sample menus can be seen here…

Meet The Chef

Head Chef Sherwin Jacobs

Head Sherwin Jacobs is originally from South Africa, he finessed his chef skills at the prestigious Lanzerac Hotel in the heart of the winelands. He is an enormously talented chef and we count ourselves very lucky to have him in the ACI family.

His cooking strikes the perfect chord, it is both elegant and innovative. If you ever get the opportunity to experience one of his rare taster evenings in the restaurant, jump at it, you won’t regret it. Equally when he turns his hand to pub classics for the bar menu his talents take these regular dishes to a new level all together.
