Guides and Reviews
You may have noticed…….
David Hancock, Editor of The Road Hog column in The Sunday Times, recently gave The Fox a very good restaurant review with sample menus. And…….
Harden’s Restaurant Guide 2008 (respected as the ’Restaurant lovers bible’) has awarded The Fox a ‘Star’ for ‘Very Good Food’ – this symbol indicates that in comparison with other restaurants in the same price-bracket, the cooking is Very Good. Cliff Nye, owner of The Fox said, ‘We are delighted to be recognised in Harden’s, a guide which I truly feel is unique and depends on recommendations from enthusiastic restaurant goers. Although, we know our food is good it is extremely gratifying to have an external source acknowledge our professionalism and expertise.’

The Fox could beat any neighbourhood restaurant into a cocked hat but part of its charm is that it is still a place where beer drinkers are welcome.
